With incredible excitement, Professors Michael Jordan, Rick Petry, and John Radsan announce the Traditions of Excellence program. This program explores the ingredients for success in a range of careers and professions with the goal of identifying universal principles for everyone who seeks to improve personally and professionally.

The Traditions of Excellence will feature a series of speakers who will share their stories and insights about reaching the top of their fields so you can reach the top of your field.

The Traditions of Excellence speakers will focus on how to achieve excellence in fields both inside and outside of the legal profession where academic intelligence, commitment, creativity, grit, and passion are required to achieve the standard of excellence in your profession. These conversations are moderated by Professors Rick Petry, Michael Jordan, and John Radsan.

June Ryan Rear Admiral USCG (Ret.)

We are kicking off the Traditions of Excellence series with June Ryan Rear Admir. USCG (Ret.) At the time of her retirement, Rear Admiral Ryan was the highest-ranking female member of the Coast Guard in over 200-year history. She will share insights regarding her journey of being an enlisted person who rose to the top of her industry.  June will also share amazing stories about the rescue swimmers who under her command performed rescue operations to save human lives under what appeared to be impossible conditions.
